Hello, hello! :) I'm Megan, a lifestyle photographer located in Beecher, IL who loves lattes, adventures, my dog Zoey and hubby Brian! I have a passion for documenting the everyday joys in life in a photo journalistic approach that leaves you with images rich in connection, story telling and true, authentic emotions. Clocked out - being Emma’s momma and Brian’s wife, spending time in nature, crafting and seasonal celebrating, visiting new to me coffee shops and supporting small businesses, tending to our backyard garden, spending time with the people I love and making lifelong memories (while filling my camera roll with photos because that’s just what I do)

Come with me to a newborn shoot! 📷👶🏼☕️💫 I photographed Bridget and Jim’s wedding 8 (!!!) years ago and they welcomed me back into their lives to document the arrival of their sweet little buddy!

Before the shoot, I picked up a maple vanilla latte 🍁☕️ from Golden Wave Goods (ugh my fav, please track them down and try them! You’ll be hooked like I am!) and Elena Yorkman got me SO EXCITED for fall with her summerween cookies so I had to get a pack! 🎃 (support your local small biz friends!)

It was so fun seeing these two again after all these years! Once I got home (and got some hello snuggles from Em and B) it was time to back everything up! After every shoot, I immediately will save the session in a few places and run through my “after session checklist” so I know the images and cards are safe and backed up. I will try to get through any emails that are waiting for me while I wait for them to import, and then I close up shop to spend the rest of the day with my little fam. 🫶🏼 Then I’m ready to start the culling process the next day! (aka get through all of those 705 images because I’m an over shooter 😅🙃)
