SEEKING VOLUNTEERS FOR NON-PROFIT EVENT Susquehanna Film Festival - a Pennsylvania non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the audiovisual arts and audiovisual impaired communities alike - is seeking volunteers to distribute our festival posters in the greater Pennsylvania/Tri-State region for our OCT 9-11 Annual film festival @ District Cinema at Lycoming Valleyy in Muncy, Pennsylvania. Volunteers will receive complimentary passes to our Festival where we'll be screening 36 global films in 3 days and can receive reimbursement for gas expenses where possible. When in a National Park, do as the ranger's do! On Saturday and Sunday, September 5-6, go for a walking tour and explore areas not usually accessible to the public.

10:30 am - Walking Tour to Renaissance Park with Photo Session:
Explore the railyard, learn photo tips, and visit the perfect vantage point for photos of the passing steam engine. Approximately 90 minutes, 1 mile of walking on uneven ground.

2:00 pm - Mattes Street Tower Walking Tour:
Walk with a guide through the railyard to a former concrete switching tower. Learn about the yard and the Lackawanna Railroad's unique use of concrete construction. Approximately 75 minutes, 1 mile of walking on uneven ground.

Throwback to August of 2022 hike to the Piper Cherokee plane crash site near Lock Haven and McElhatten PA. It was a long hike, Mike and I spent 12 hrs hiking with a breakfast and lunch break on the mountain to see the plane. We stopped at the lower end of the Keller Reservoir with a perfect water reflection and a few cool things along the way. The last stop on the hike was the Castanea Boulder Field overlooking the Great Island, Dunnstown and Lock Haven PA.

I knew about this plane crash for nearly 10yrs prior to this hike and to finally see it was a dream come true in a way haha. Heres an article from Valley Girl Views about her hike and info on the plane crash. If you have ever taken US220 between Lock Haven and McElhatten PA then you have passed the plane crash and never knew it.

Who was at Williamsport Welcomes The World event in downtown Williamsport PA? What a crazy night of food, music, pin giveaways and much more.

If you were at a Little League game at all this year post the photos below. I unfortunately wont be going to the last game, I havent attended one single game this year. Good luck to both teams for the American and International teams to advance their way to the final game on Sunday!
