Happiness for your walls 💕
Portraits and art 🖼️ For as long as I can remember, I've always enjoyed making art and taking photographs.

It's only recently that I put the two together and the current form of Anne Katherine Creative was born - it's where my love of photography meets my love of making art.

When I am not photographing clients or printing in my studio, you can find me taking mini solo trips, exploring abandoned buildings (with permission) or just reading and catching-up on the latest TV shows with my daughter.

I a

m self represented and sell my work at craft shows as well as online. My canvas work is printed by me and ships directly from my studio in Bedminster, New Jersey.

How would you feel
if you could cherish
your beautiful moments
as art?

Think about it…

Would you reminisce
during those first quiet
moments of your day
as you sip your coffee…

or on the wall by the
staircase so you can see it
every time you walk by?

How would you feel
years from now
when they are grown…

…to have that
beautiful moment
on your wall
to cherish?

Your light is art.🤍

I had this beautiful woman in my studio for her new adventure. Her light and energy was magnetic and we made some beautiful images together.

My favorite part about being a photographer is capturing the essence of the people the step in front of my camera and handing it back to them as art. Your light is art.🤍

I have to add that my full-time graphic design jobs in my past life prepared me for this. There was always lots of project juggling and my co-workers were my clients. The juggling/managing part is like 80% of the work and the creative part is 20%. It’s only taken me 20 years to learn this. 😂🤷‍♀️

I get a lot of people that ask me at fairs what my work is. Initially I was confused by the question but then I realized that when people were viewing my work, they didn’t quite see it as photography but it also didn’t look like a painting.

Why is this?

It seems to be a combination of my photography style and editing style. I also think the final image printed on canvas really adds to that effect. It’s not something you typically see of landscape photography.

The style was never something I did intentionally but something that revealed itself naturally and quickly and I really love that about my work.

When I’m creating new pieces, I’ve become very mindful if the image will work in that ‘I don’t know what this is’ zone. If it doesn’t pass that test for me, I won’t use it.

So there you have it!
