I arrived home yesterday to packages at the door, some being ones I anticipated, one seemingly unexpected. I unboxed the few I knew would be arriving & then carefully opened the one I had no clue about. I will forever & for always say that the single thing I love most about the career path God directed me towards is the connection I am blessed to make with the lives I come in contact with. π€ And most often I know the βsafe soulsβ I feel comfortable making deeper connections with (even if I only see them once or twice a year). You just know. π€ As I unboxed the unexpected package, there I found the sweetest gift from the most thoughtful of clients with the kindest of messages, βNot the fun baby stuff, but things that I didn't think of and were handy to already have at home if needed and not have to run to the store to grab if baby wasn't feeling well! Congratulations!!!β π€ The contents may have seemed simple & insignificant to some but, to me, they meant everything. π€ The knowing that they thought of me & they care for me & they chose to do something so kind. π€ That they are coming alongside of me in this next, new season-of-my-life. π€ππ€
So for today, hereβs your reminderβ¦ Give an unexpected blessing to someone. Extend a random gesture of kindness to someone. Speak a word. Venmo a coffee. Share a hug. Just to let them know that youβre thinking of them & that you care. It may make all the difference in their day, just like it did mine. π€
