With S & K’s third wedding anniversary just days away, I found myself returning to the archives to revisit one of the most meaningful celebrations I’ve had the privilege of documenting.

Their wedding at the Baltimore Museum of Art was a masterclass in intentionality—an elegant gathering filled with genuine connection, heartfelt moments, and the kind of laughter that lingers long after the day has passed. Every detail felt deeply personal, creating an atmosphere that was both sophisticated and effortlessly joyful.

Three years later, these images remain just as timeless as the love they reflect. It is a wedding day I will always hold close.

Cheers to S & K and three beautiful years of marriage. 🥂

Set against the timeless grandeur of Swan House in Atlanta, this editorial felt like a study in refined elegance from the very beginning. The estate’s sweeping staircases, manicured gardens, and European-inspired architecture created the perfect backdrop for a design rooted in sophistication, fashion, and intentional detail.

The bride wore the Marietta gown by — a look that felt effortlessly couture with its romantic structure and dramatic movement. Paired against the stately architecture of the estate, every portrait carried a sense of understated luxury and editorial refinement.

Layers of lush florals in soft whites, fresh greens, and restrained touches of blue brought an organic softness to the design, while the rare peonies created an unmistakable statement throughout the day. Beneath cascading crystal chandeliers, winding reception tables transformed the space into something both intimate and opulent — balancing grandeur with an elevated sense of artistry.

A celebration where fashion, architecture, and design existed beautifully in conversation with one another.

Set against the rolling hills and countryside of Charlottesville, this late-September wedding carried an energy that never wavered—from the anticipation of the morning through the final moments on the dance floor. The ceremony unfolded beside the vineyard’s fountain, where timeless architecture and soft greenery framed a setting that felt both refined and deeply personal.

What stood out most was the connection between these two. The way they look at each other—effortless, certain, completely at ease. His reaction at the first look said everything: a wide, unfiltered grin the moment he saw her, equal parts admiration and disbelief. It set the tone for the entire day.

They were surrounded by a bridal party that matched their energy in every way—supportive, celebratory, and fully present. And that’s what makes days like this so rewarding to document. Not just the setting or the details, but the movement, the laughter, the genuine joy of people showing up for one another. Moments like these don’t need direction—they simply unfold, and it’s a privilege to capture them as they are.

A love story begins long before the vows are spoken—it whispers first through paper, through texture, through the quiet artistry of intention.

This bespoke suite, dreamt and brought to life by Amelia of Sable and Serif, is a study in refinement—where heritage detail meets modern romance. With inspirations from the intricate ceiling of ’s storied interiors, every element was thoughtfully considered, from the custom-embossed pattern to the soft drape of silk ribbon and heirloom wax seals.

But her work extends far beyond the invitation itself. From invitation suites to menus, place cards, es**rt displays, and the smallest paper details that shape a guest’s experience—each piece is designed as part of a cohesive story, layered with meaning and elevated through craftsmanship.

What lingers most is the hand behind it all—each delicate blue floral, originally painted and translated across linen and paper alike, a signature of her devotion to craft. There is a tenderness in that process, a belief that beauty should be felt as much as it is seen.

Based in Williamsburg, yet creating far beyond, Amelia designs not simply paper goods, but the opening chapter of a wedding’s narrative—one that guests hold in their hands before they ever arrive.

Two years ago, I married my muse.

Not just the woman who stands beside me in these frames, but the one who quietly shaped the way I see them—the light, the composition, the fleeting in-between moments that feel like art because they’re real.

Ten years of knowing you, of loving you—of growing into who we are, together. Long before this day, you were already my constant. The vows simply gave language to what had always been true.

I photograph love stories for a living—but this one will always be my magnum opus.

To my wife—my greatest inspiration, my constant, my home—happy anniversary.

Forever, and then some.

This image asked for its own moment.

A quiet corner that felt like a painting—soft light, carved stone, and a bouquet that refused to be anything but poetic. The gentle fall of these tulips, so unstructured and full of movement, caught my eye immediately… an effortless kind of elegance that can’t be styled, only discovered.

It’s in these in-between spaces where the story deepens—where texture, light, and intention meet in the most unexpected ways.

The beauty and grandeur of will always leave me in awe.
