It’s been a little while since I’ve shared here, so coming back with something extra special 🤍

I photographed this wedding last May for my cousin — a day full of softness, chaos, laughter, and the kind of love that reminds me exactly why I do this. Being trusted to document moments like these will never stop feeling surreal.

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about accessibility and creativity — how art and photography don’t always have to exist inside traditional pricing structures. Community, collaboration, and trade have always been part of creative spaces, and I want to lean into that more this year.

I’m currently booking portraits, couples, creative sessions, and small weddings/elopements ✨
Hybrid payment (money + trade) is something I’m very open to — details in the comments.

I disappeared this year—and for a while, survival took precedence over sharing.

2025 wasn’t about growth in the traditional sense. It was about endurance, healing, and learning how to stand on my own again. And still, I created images that feel more like me than ever before.

This work represents a turning point—less about proving, more about expressing. Less noise, more soul.

I’m stepping into the new year with clarity, creativity, and a renewed commitment to making art that feels honest and intentional.

As students head back to school, let’s fill classrooms with 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆, 𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈, especially for those carrying heavy hearts. Friends of Aine is here to support grieving children and families, because no child should have to carry that burden alone. 💜

Why, Alexa, do you almost always tag your locations in your Instagram?

Truthfully, throughout the years I’ve realized how much it helps my clients to see different locations during different seasons. But it’s not just for my clients.

I send sample galleries to my clients so they get a feel for how I photograph certain locations but I also want people who aren’t my clients to be able to enjoy these beautiful spots as well!

There’s no gate keeping nature and beauty here. So from a New England photographer to my fellow followers of all backgrounds- if you ever wonder where I took images and I didn’t tag it, dm me I probably just forgot and would be happy to share with you!

I feel so blessed to have been able to visit this beautiful island. 🌴🌺

Bonaire, you helped me reconnect with nature and myself again. You showed me that there is peace amongst the chaos, and that there is so much joy to be found when you say yes to opportunities.

I never realized how hard it would be to accept GOOD into my life- especially in moments where I feel undeserving. I would have never dreamed of being able to travel to a place like this. I didn’t even have a passport until this trip!

But here I am, looking back with awe and standing resolute in the idea that all of my experiences lead me to an open door, where I got to spend time with my amazing partner and their wonderful family in a magical place. I am grateful and full of hope that this is just the beginning of a life full of many adventures. ⛵️

Always a pleasure capturing branding for the beautiful Jenna! I LOVE when my clients are prepared with a variety of props. We didn’t even get to all of them because we had so many to choose from, and I mean that in the best way possible!

Collaborating with small businesses makes my heart soar. I love capturing everything from portraits to merch to all around good vibes!

Hello my love! It’s me, Alexa 🍓

This season has been full to the brim, as is my heart.

☁️ I’ve had the dreamiest of shoots with the kindest of clients.

🇧🇶 I’ve traveled out of the country for the first time EVER. (More to come on Bonaire!)

⛰️ I am traveling to CO for a short trip from the 24th-28th (anyone out in co wanna shoot?!) and I’m thrilled to go back to the mountains.

🎒 I have SO many upcoming sessions that I just can’t wait to capture, and a day job to go back to sooner than I’d like to think about.

Thank you to those who are following along on my journey. This year has been chock full of surprises, and I am so glad that I get to share them with my friend and followers. 💛
