A few shots from my session with Oak Hill HS Senior
Caiden Morris / Class of 2027!

Pausing for a moment in a season of life that seems to move so quickly. Senior portraits are about celebrating the person your child has become - remembering the little boy who somehow grew into this young man overnight.

I love it when the senior picture experience is more than standing in front of a camera - its not only celebrating who these young people are right now and creating beautiful photographs. These photos belong to the parents and families as much if not more than the senior. I had a great time with Caiden and his family yesterday - having conversation, getting to know them better, having so many laughs that my face hurt.

Understanding the child they shaped and trained and getting the bigger picture how these kids get to where they are. Hearing them tell each other "I love you" is really special to hear. Thank you to everyone who lets me in on such important moments - they really mean more to me than all of the images combined

I remember photographing this guy right before he started kindergarten and last weekend I had the honor of doing this set of photos in his last year of school. Check out those cute animated faces at the end. I love full circle moments like this one.

A few highlights from Shady Spring HS Homecoming dance last weekend! Early Fall brisk weather + a stroll through downtown taking pics is always a fun time. Love seeing the kids all dressed up :-)
