I’ve gained a whole new appreciation for newborn sessions now that I have little ones of my own. I truly understand how wonderful, fleeting, and challenging those first few weeks can be. Between nursing, pumping, cleaning bottles, trying to catch a nap when baby sleeps, so many diapers, managing older kids, and keeping the house in some semblance of order, it’s easy for those early moments to pass by. That’s why I believe it’s so important to take the time to document these precious times. Before becoming a mom, I never fully understood what my clients were experiencing, but now, being able to empathize, makes me love these sessions even more 💙
