I often get accused of not listening to people because I doodle. That, actually, is how I retain information.
A few years ago in Ireland, we got called into school. It turned out, Cailin wasn’t listening. She was doodling instead. We came home and had a serious conversation. Don’t listen to teachers, do what you know works best for you.

I’m posting this old doodle from a veeeerry booooring training - not because it’s particularly good but because I want to document it. Pears have never been my favorite of fruit, but they hold a very strong sentimental value for me. If you know anything about pear trees, just like apple trees, they don’t get very big. I grew up in a shade of a massive abomination of a tree that was planted right next to the porch by my grand parents. It was ancient, useless and was a cause of a lot of work whether it was dropping flower petals, fruit or leaves in the fall. I miss it every day and knowing that the russians have cut down hundreds of years of tree growth collectively in the area, I don’t have strength in me to look on if they killed that pear tree as well. If we ever get to come back to that land, we will not recognize it.
