I can barely remember my pregnancy. It feels like a lifetime ago. It was only 12 years.

It's shocking how easy it is to forget things you don't have a proper record of.

I remember my wedding day perfectly. I have photos and more photos to remind me of that beautiful day.

And not only that, but the photos perfectly captured the way we felt that day. When I look at them, it feels as if I'm living it all over again.

That's the power of photography. When you find someone who can perfectly express your feelings into photos, you get to relive those feelings forever and ever.

As Benito would say, I should have taken more photos...
of my pregnancy. It's not something I can ever go back to.

How lucky you are, little one.

These days when I travel I ditch my big, expensive camera and I take most of my photos with a 50 bucks film camera.
I love how light it is and how it forces me to really only take it out when I have a moment I absolutely can't go without photographing.

This is my trip to Portugal with my 2 sisters last month.
A week that will stay forever in my heart. I'm already dreaming about next time.

That day the wind blew so lightly and the laughter was loud and the sun was shining through the trees.

The most beautiful days we have are the ones we'll probably not even remember in a year. Unless, of course, we have pictures.

I'm going to miss the quiet nights when we lay talking about his day and he holds my hand before he falls asleep.

The easy laughter, the cuddles, the days when we did nothing too special but still it felt like the perfect day.
