"The ceremony wasn't just filled with happy tears. There were heavy hearts on this joyous day. The Bride's grandfather passed away the night before the wedding but his presence was felt by all in attendance. Joey's vows were filled with all the things he loves about Hailey. He joked about how he was marrying her for her family. They were the sweetest vows I've ever heard. He went on to speak of all the qualities Hailey posses and who she got each one from in her family, including her grandfather."

I have such a love affair with photography. I've been behind the camera for nearly 10 years. While I've taken some time off as my family has moved around the world and grown, it's always been my joy. I'm so excited to be able to fall in love with photography again in a new genre.

For those that don't know me, I am Jealine Purtee. I'm the 'former' owner of Jealine Purtee Photography and the now owner of Ivy+Lace. I started my career in photography capturing brand new babies and excited parents to-be. I loved every moment of it but found it to be very difficult to manage with constant moves and living in tight military housing. I am still happy to photograph newborns, maternity, seniors, families, and events but my new adventure is in weddings!

National Infertility Awareness Week! Today is the final day of NIAW! I was going to select our two winning families for the free Maternity and Newborn session. However, I got to thinking and realized I forgot to ask everyone when they are due! I don't want to randomly select a family that is due today for a Maternity session! That just isn't going to work out very well. So I have decided to split all the entries into Maternity or Newborn based on due date to ensure that we have adequate time to schedule the session! I will be sending everyone an email with this information! If you see this, before you receive my email, please send me PM with your due date! If you see this post and you nominated a friend, please let them know! I want to be sure everyone is entered into the correct category!
