I met my husband in Washington, D.C. while he was stationed in Quantico, Virginia the Presidential Security Detail of President Obama's Marine 1 helicopter (HMX-1). Now he is a Drill Instructor on Parris Island and we share a home in Beaufort with our crazy chocolate lab, Cooper.
