A handful of years ago, I was introduced to night/astro photography. I fell in love with the stillness of the night. Even though I was surrounded by darkness, there were so much to see.
After Hurricane Matthew, one of my images became a part of history. Little Blue (The Last Cabin Standing) had put up a good fight, but lost her battle and the state took her down. With a heavy heart, I’m hearing that the scenes have changed once again after another King Tide, the iconic tree that once stood in her yard, has fallen into the majestic ocean waters of Hunting Island Beach / Lighthouse, one of the most visited South Carolina State Parks.
