The first post of 2026 & only seems right that it’s my best friend 🤍 Hannah has been my best friend since middle school, and I’ve had the honor of watching her grow through every season of life. From high school graduation, college graduation, traveling the world, standing beside each other in our weddings, and now meeting her sweet baby Teddy. There is something so sacred about witnessing each other’s milestones, and I couldn’t be more excited to watch their beautiful little family grow.
What a special weekend meeting Teddy & photographing an in-home session documenting this current season of life inside the walls of their cozy apartment.

For weeks I have heard Halloween in Beaufort described as a Norman Rockwell painting. Tonight felt like we stepped into one of my childhood Halloween books. The air was crisp, the colors vivid against the Autumn skylight, and the houses each decorated to the nines. I often find myself trying to relive the childhood nostalgia around the holidays & tonight felt like one of those moments. My goal for these photos was to capture the nostalgia while documenting a very Happy Halloween on Ann Street 🎃

While walking Centennial Park I asked Jessica and Walt if there was a moment when they knew they wanted to marry. They smiled at each other and each shared a story rooted in quiet, small moments that led to a deep love for one another. A perfect representation that love is not always built on grand gestures, but on a thousand little moments stitched together into something deep and meaningful.

If you know Logan, you know love. She radiates kindness & gives her heart to whatever she does. It was a dream to photograph this season in Logan & Kyle’s life as they bask in their engagement era. Kyle’s love is so evident for Logan, even people passing in the street stopped to comment. Photographing this kind of love makes my job so rewarding 🤍

When Tim first reached out about proposing to Taylor at the beach, his heart was set on a moment that felt unmistakably them—thoughtful, romantic, and full of meaning. He picked a hundred roses in the shade of Taylor’s favorite color and together we dreamed up a proposal.

As the afternoon drew to evening, a musician began to walk the shoreline, his voice threading Joy of My Life through the salt-sweet air. Hand in hand Tim & Taylor stepped into the center of the roses, and there, beneath the hush of waves, Tim asked Taylor to spend forever with him.

They’re going to chase the gulls. Let them.

They’re going to play in the sand. Let them.
Dresses will get wet. Hair will tangle. Shoes will be forgotten at the edge of the dunes.

There will be giggles that carry on the wind, the crash of waves louder than my shutter, and tiny footprints that refuse to stay still for long.

And through it all, the magic will unfold.

These are the moments you’ll want to remember—the way your little one clung to your leg before breaking into laughter, the way you bent down barefoot to scoop them up, the way your family felt when you were all together by the sea.

A beach session isn’t about perfection—it’s about presence. The chaos, the beauty, the salt, the laughter, the unposed, in-between moments.

And when you see your photographs, you’ll realize it was never about keeping the sand off your dress or the waves from soaking you. It was about letting your story breathe in the wild and wonderful way only the ocean can hold.
