Today, we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day is a time to reflect, to remember, and to give thanks for their ultimate sacrifice.

As I share these photos from my husband’s reenlistment, I do so with a full heart. Grateful for his continued service and deeply mindful of those who never made it home.

To the fallen heroes and their families - we remember, honor, and thank you.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful mamas out there.

To the expecting mothers, first-time moms, seasoned mamas, stepmoms, adoptive moms, foster moms, grieving mothers, mothers of angel and rainbow babies, single moms, and every woman who carries a mother’s heart, today is for you.

And to my sweet mama clients, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for trusting me to be part of your most precious and intimate moments. From capturing the magic of your everyday life, to documenting the joy and anticipation of a growing belly, to standing quietly with you in the sacred space of birth, and holding the honor of photographing your baby’s first moments earth side. These are memories I’ll always hold close.

It means so much to be welcomed into these chapters of your lives. I love what I do, but even more than that, I love getting to do it with you. Your trust, your warmth, your stories, they stay with me.
