Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend and big sales. It’s a day to reflect on the cost of our freedom and the sacrifices made by so many who never made it home to their families.
As I share these photos I took of my husband’s reenlistment a couple years ago, I do so with a grateful heart. Grateful for his nearly 10 years of service, and grateful that he was able to come home from his deployments, while knowing so many families carry the weight of loved ones who never had that chance.
Today, we honor the fallen, remember their sacrifice, and hold their families close in our hearts. ♥️🤍💙🇺🇸
