Christmas in July because I still haven’t gotten over this day.

A rainy Charleston wedding day wasn’t exactly what they planned for, but somewhere between ducking into elevators, wandering the streets around The Dewberry, and laughing through the drizzle, it became exactly what it was supposed to be.

No rushing to escape the weather.
No stressing over the forecast.

Just two people completely content being together.

The rain left the streets glowing, the city lights reflected off every sidewalk, and Charleston showed off in a way only Charleston can. Some of my favorite images from The Dewberry Charleston have happened on days when the weather asked us to slow down and lean into the moment.

Because years from now, no one remembers the forecast.

They remember how it felt.

And this day felt like joy. 🤍

Hanna & Ryan’s wedding day at Honey Horn was filled with the kind of moments that pass in an instant but stay with you forever.

The emotional reactions.
The laughter between friends.
The quiet glances.
The way the sunlight filtered through the moss-covered oaks as they promised each other forever.

Stepping out from behind the camera for a second because this part of my life matters too. 🤍

This man has loved me through the chaos, the growth, the late nights, the dreams, the stress, and all the versions of me in between. We’re building a life that feels steady, safe, beautiful, and a little loud sometimes. 😂

And while there are definitely days I want to lovingly choke him out, there are far more days where I look around and think… dang, I really love what we’re creating together.

Here’s to the people who become home. 🫶🏻
