Some seasons are loud and full of motion.
Golden hour. Wind in the veil. Laughter spilling into the frame.

And some seasons are quieter.
Sacred. Slower. Holy in a different way.

This year, my story looks a little different.

I’ve said yes to something deeply humbling; carrying a baby through surrogacy for another family. A life entrusted to my body, held in prayer, wrapped in obedience.

It’s not my child, but it is my calling for this season.

And because of that, I am choosing to slow down.

To protect my health.
To pour into my husband and daughters.
To draw closer to the Lord.
To be fully present in whatever time we have left here in Beaufort before a potential move at the end of the year.

Beaufort has been the backdrop of so many of your love stories, engagements under moss-draped oaks, weddings kissed by coastal light, babies cradled in quiet nurseries.

And now… it’s the backdrop of mine, too.

LoveNLight Photography LLC isn’t disappearing.
It’s simply stepping into a softer focus.

A sacred pause.
A holy yes.
A slower chapter written by faith.

As a photographer, I spend my days capturing moments that remind me how precious life really is, smiles, tears, laughter, the fleeting in-between. Every single frame is a story of life.

So it absolutely breaks my heart to see people celebrating death. To see joy in someone else’s loss. To see life dismissed like it doesn’t matter.

👉 If you can condone or celebrate someone’s death, please unfollow this page. I don’t want that kind of darkness here. This space is about light, truth, and love, the things God calls us to walk in.

Because no matter who you are, what you’ve done, where you’ve been, or the story your life tells… God loves you. Period. His love doesn’t pick and choose.

And if the way we respond to tragedy doesn’t reflect that love, then it’s time to get back into the Word and let God soften our hearts again.

Every life matters. Every story matters. Every person matters to God.

🌿 Out of Office Notice 🌿

Just a heads up, I’ll be out of the office and away from my work laptop until the end of July as we take a little much-needed time to rest, reconnect, and get inspired again.
