⚡ THE STEAMTOWN MUSIC AWARDS LINEUP IS HERE! ⚡ The Electric City Music Conference officially kicks off on Thursday, September 10 at TheVspot Bar in Scranton with one of our favorite nights of the entire year, the Steamtown Music Awards.
For 13 years, the SMAs have been about celebrating the artists, musicians and people who make the NEPA music scene what it is. This year, we’ve got another great lineup of live performances featuring Squid Sterling, Alahji DáQuan, Chase Who Band, BryanBanksMusic, Wagner Road, Elephants Dancing, Spellslinger and RAVYN, with Dj Hersh in the mix throughout the night.
And that’s just part of what’s happening.
We’ll be handing out 35+ awards, rolling out the red carpet, doing photos and interviews, and bringing together artists, fans and members of the local music community for a night that’s all about NEPA music.
🏆 Nominations close August 22, so if there’s an artist, band, venue, DJ, producer, photographer or other member of the music community you think deserves recognition, make sure you nominate them.
The Steamtown Music Awards also kick off a huge weekend for the Electric City Music Conference, featuring 175 artists, 12 venues, free educational panels, workshops, mentoring sessions and live music all over Scranton.
And for the first time, we’re keeping the weekend going into Sunday with a special edition of the NEPA Musician’s Flea Market on September 13.
