Cy and Hugo celebrated their wedding at Arrow Park in Monroe, New York, and this Hudson Valley venue offers a quintessential setting for full weekend celebrations. As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, we love how every corner of Arrow Park provides beautiful photo opportunities from the historic mansion to the lake views, because honestly this location has everything couples could want. The Italianate mansion sits high on a cliff overlooking sparkling water with rustic charm and dramatic interiors that feel like stepping into another world, and guests enjoyed the blend of nature and history while celebrating with their loved ones.

The venue is just over an hour from Manhattan making it both accessible and private, surrounded by Sterling Forest so couples and their guests feel far from city life. It's this rare mix of elegance and tranquility that makes each event unique and honestly what makes Arrow Park so special for wedding weekends. Cy and Hugo got ready separately inside the mansion's private rooms where tall windows and vintage details provided ideal backdrops, and the light pouring in beautifully made each moment feel intimate and cinematic. Furthermore the venue features a separate small wedding event space with glass walls and glass ceilings, and this greenhouse-style room is filled with natural light creating a dreamy intimate atmosphere for small celebrations that feels both elegant and close to nature. Mike and Jo began their Harvest on Hudson wedding with a first look inside the gorgeous glass event space where the soft spring light filtered through the walls and bathed the room in a warm romantic glow, and this intimate moment between them was emotional, genuine, and a true joy to witness and photograph.

The ceremony and reception both took place inside the glass-walled greenhouse space where long tables were draped in white linens with candles and vibrant floral centerpieces creating an elegant yet intimate setting for their closest loved ones. The greenhouse venue offered stunning views of the surrounding greenery through the large windows, and the natural light pouring through the glass ceiling created the most beautiful atmosphere for this Westchester micro-wedding celebration. Photographing micro-weddings has become one of our absolute favorite parts of our work as Hudson Valley wedding photographers, and honestly there's something so special about intimate celebrations with 20-50 guests. What we love most is how micro-weddings allow couples to truly be present with every single person at their celebration. There's no rushing through receiving lines or trying to visit every table during dinner, instead couples actually get to have meaningful conversations and genuine moments with each guest. The atmosphere feels relaxed and personal rather than overwhelming, which translates into photography that captures real emotion and authentic connection.

Micro-weddings also give us more time for creative portraits without feeling rushed. We can explore multiple locations on the property, experiment with different lighting, and really focus on capturing the couple's story in a thoughtful way. The smaller guest count means ceremony spaces can be more intimate and unique, whether it's a backyard under stone stairs, an orchard surrounded by trees, or a mountaintop overlooking the valley. We've found that couples planning micro-weddings often prioritize the elements that matter most to them, like incredible food, personalized details, or stunning locations, rather than feeling obligated to include traditions that don't resonate. Some love stories simply call for a small, intentional, and deeply personal celebration, and Mirelle and Dylan chose a Beacon City Hall elopement surrounded by only the people who matter most. We were truly honored to document every meaningful moment of their day, and early summer arrived with a fierce heat wave yet these two were not deterred in the slightest. Mirelle and Dylan began with a first look outside the Beacon Courthouse sheltered under a shady tree, and that quiet intimate moment set a warm and beautiful tone for the rest of their day as Beacon-based photographers who always know how to work creatively with any environment we are given.

Beacon City Hall holds civil ceremonies on Tuesdays at noon making it a perfect setting for an intimate micro-wedding, and Mirelle and Dylan gathered inside with their parents and siblings creating an atmosphere full of genuine warmth and love. The courthouse holds a sincere and focused energy that keeps every spotlight firmly on the couple themselves, and we truly love photographing Beacon City Hall elopements because the emotion in that space is always honest and real. The ceremony was short, sweet, and incredibly meaningful as they exchanged vows and rings in the grand courtroom with their closest family looking on.

After the ceremony wrapped at Beacon City Hall we headed to Little Stony Point Park in Cold Spring for portraits where this stunning Hudson River location provided incredible views and natural beauty just minutes away. The early summer heat meant we worked efficiently to capture beautiful portraits along the rocky shoreline and at the overlook, and Little Stony Point's combination of waterfront trails, Hudson River views, and mountain backdrop made it the perfect spot for their Cold Spring elopement portrait session. Despite the heat wave these two were completely present and joyful throughout the entire day, and the sunny conditions created bright beautiful light for photos.

This sunny Beacon City Hall elopement with Cold Spring portraits proved that combining a simple courthouse ceremony with stunning outdoor portrait locations creates the perfect intimate celebration, and honestly the combination of Beacon City Hall's classic charm, Little Stony Point's waterfront beauty, and Mirelle and Dylan's joy throughout the day made this one of our favorite Hudson Valley courthouse elopements to photograph despite the challenging summer heat.
