Hello, I know I do not engage on Facebook often enough these days. I am so thankful to my clients and friends who have supported my small business. I have a special ask for you today. I am very happy to announce that I am opening my own photography studio after years of dreaming about it and working for it. It is because of you that this is happening. I am overjoyed. Today is the last day to vote for the Litchfield Magazine's Reader's Choice Awards. Last year I was the only one out of four to not make the top three and this month I am putting together my new studio! It could be a great boost for my business in the new year to be featured in the top three.

Voting takes just a moment and this year you only need to vote one time. Live Lovely Photography is listed under the wedding photography category and there is a submit button at the bottom. I’m very proud of these photos. This particular photo shoot had a lot of challenges for me as a photographer (bright direct sun, heat, lens fog, and city crowds to name a few) and Nick and Alyssa had to also battle the heat, wake up early, and do a lot of walking and posing to get these photos. They were both amazing. I am so happy to share them with you today.

Christina and Sean's wedding is on the blog today. I'm doing something a little different this year; I am sharing more of the outtakes and fun behind the scenes moments that usually only make the usb or never get seen at all. I thought after the year we've had, why not share all the fun (and funny) moments, not just the picture perfect ones? I am a wedding photojournalist after all and there is so much more that goes into a wedding day the lovely portraits. I'm also sharing a lot more dancing and reception photos this year too. I've shared it all; funny make up mishaps and epic dance floor fails. And of course, all the pretty pictures and details are still there too. I would love to know what you think.
