September has been a massive turning point in my life and its terrifying yet reassuring. I can slowly feel myself becoming an adult, and I often wish I was still just a little kid. I can sense my own desire to actually be a productive member of society and idk what to do. Time keeps moving no matter how much we kick and scream for it to slow down. The ironic part is we actually perceive time faster as we get older; days start to blur together, months pass as if they were weeks. I have two years left in high school still, but three weeks have already passed since the start of this year and its felt like one. God I hope it's a good year.

Every time I feel myself succeeding in one thing I always fail somewhere else. I constantly strive for perfection but end up driving myself to insanity in the process. Perfection is an illusion; the pursuit of perfection is the pursuit of madness.
