ππ€ HAPPY PRIDE MONTH π€π
I've never really made a Pride Month post on my photography page before, but after a recent conversation with another photographer, I felt called to.
I was told that they wouldn't work with q***r couples because of their "Christian values."
As a q***r woman who is also Christian and was raised Catholic, that conversation hurt.
Not because someone believes differently than I do, but because I don't believe love, acceptance, and dignity should ever be conditional.
My faith has always taught me to love like Jesus. The Jesus I know sat with those who felt excluded, welcomed those who were judged, and reminded us that our greatest calling is to love one another.
So I want to be very clear about where I stand:
π ALL love is welcomed here.
π ALL love is celebrated here.
I joyfully welcome people of all sexualities, gender identities, races, religions, body types, and abilities in front of my camera.
Photography is about preserving stories, celebrating connection, and documenting the people who matter most to us. Everyone deserves that.
If you've ever wondered whether you would be accepted here, the answer is yes. Always. π€π
Love is love. And everyone deserves to have theirs remembered.
