Tristan has a gift. I've known it since he was a scrawny middle schooler, or possibly even before then...when the viewfinder is at my eye, he has the gift of making a goofy face at just the right time. Now, don't get me wrong...he's very photogenic, but he made it his goal to make a silly face for every picture I took. It became a joke for many years as I took his picture for every sport, family pictures, and sibling pictures. I've definitely managed to sneak in some good ones in between the goofy, but boy, do I have the portfolio of goofy Tristan pictures if I really wanted to show it. 😆Fast forward to 2025....Senior picture time. I joked with him that he was going to have to cooperate for some of these pictures, and he didn't disappoint. By saying he didn't disappoint, I mean, we managed to capture some of my favorite Senior pictures while still catching some of those goofy looks in between.
Now that he is a mature Senior, months from graduation, I'll only post his "real" pictures for now, but sometime in the future, I may surprise him with a whole album of the goofy pictures he's allowed me to take over the years. To be honest, I can't believe he's graduating, and I may even shed a tear or two as he walks across the stage and makes a goofy smile for my camera. Congratulations, Tristan!
