Here's another Nikki Sixx quote I like and can relate to.

He's referring to shooting studio portraits of people I'm assuming. But the part about playing with the photos, and doing what he wants in post-processing, is the part I can relate to the most.

I feel the same way at airshows or events.

I enjoy the time spent on the line taking photos, but it's a bittersweet experience for a lack of a better term.

I enjoy the time spent behind the camera, the thrill of the event. The excitement of the aircraft. The challenge of getting creative with my shots.

But I also long for the quite time at home, behind the PC, editing images. The time I get to spend, as Nikki put it, "...playing with the photos and doing all the stuff I want."
