Visiting my freshman son at LSU gave me some free time to wander around campus, and of course, I couldn't leave without stopping by to see the famous Mike the Tiger. I was incredibly lucky to catch him out and about in the late afternoon, and this time I had my camera with me.
This was actually my second time seeing him; the first was during orientation, when I didn't bring my camera and was so disappointed that I couldn't capture any good photos. But on this visit, everything worked out perfectly. Mike gave me the most beautiful looks and poses, and I'm so happy with the photos I was able to take.
Sharing them on Facebook has been such a joy. So many people have commented, shared their thoughts, and told their own stories about Mike. It's amazing to see how much he means to the LSU community and beyond.
I'm grateful for the experience, for the memories with my son, and for the chance to connect with so many people who admire Mike just as much as I do.
