On September 5th, 2026, we had the opportunity to visit the STEUBEN 250 History Fair presented by the Steuben County Historical Society & the Steuben County Historian at Pulteney Park in the Village of Bath, New York.

In this set of photographs, The Civil War and the Revolutionary War reenactments took over Pulteney Square West. Thank you to the reenactors who preformed!

The day was packed with beautiful weather, action packed battles, homemade ice cream, car show demonstrations, vendors & reenactors

Celebrate 250 Years of America and Steuben County's Place in History! -- Join us as we honor the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and commemorate the vital role Steuben County has played in our nation's story. This full-day celebration will feature music, history displays, Revolutionary and Civil War re-enactors, and lots of fun!

This event is being sponsored by the New York State 250th Commemoration Committee "Empowering Local Partners" Grant

Co-Organizers: Steuben County Historian and Steuben County Historical Society.

On September 5th, 2026, we had the opportunity to visit the STEUBEN 250 History Fair presented by the Steuben County Historical Society & the Steuben County Historian at Pulteney Park in the Village of Bath, New York.

On September 5th, 2026, we had the opportunity to visit the STEUBEN 250 presented by the Steuben County Historical Society & the Steuben County Historian at Pulteney Park in the Village of Bath, New York. During the ceremony the Steuben County Historian, Steuben County Legislator Kelly H. Fitzpatrick -Bath & Sweet for Mayor placed a time capsule and letters from legislators, schoolchildren, along with newspapers documenting life in the county into a safe in the Your Charters of Freedom monument. The time capsule will be opened in 2087, which will be 100 years later.

The day was packed with beautiful weather, action packed battles, homemade ice cream, car show demonstrations, vendors & more.

If you haven't stopped by Dave’s Produce and Farm Market just outside the Village of Bath, New York on State Route 415 in a while, here's a reason to stop! Fall time decor has arrived at the market! Pumpkins, mums, straw bales, creative painted decor and more!

They have added a new large covered area to the front of the greenhouses to add more space for seasonal decorations and more!

Remember to check out their Fall Festival coming October 17, 2026 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Yesterday we stopped up to Exit 38, near the VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System in the Village of Bath, New York to capture the residents forming an American Flag line to commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11th, 2001. The residents held the American Flag line for over an hour with drivers honking their horns in support and people pulling over to the side to grab photographs.

🇺🇲 We will never forget, we will always remember.
