Happy Oldest Child Day!

I didn’t realize this was a national holiday until I was scrolling this afternoon, but naturally, I took it as an excuse to scroll through more photos. Bittersweet, as always.

Cheers to my firstborn: the science projects, the growing pains, the “we’re all figuring this out” years, and the fact that I’m apparently allowing myself to embarrass him with photos and videos today because it’s an official "holiday."😂

And cheers to all the firstborns out there. We blazed the trail, tested the limits, and gave the younger siblings a helpful preview of what not to do. You’re welcome.

Perhaps this is just a social media "holiday." And really, do we need an official holiday to celebrate the firstborns who made us parents? 😘

He may not like me for this one.... BUT.... I could make very similar content of about 18-20 others in the class of 2027. Hmmmm, perhaps I will 😘

⛳️ Bath Girls Golf is competing at the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP today, and we’re already making plans to welcome them home! 💙

The girls are in Allendale, getting a slightly delayed start thanks to the weather, but we’re already thinking about how to show them just how proud this community is of them!

Some plans started coming together last night, and around here, sometimes the last-minute plans are the BEST plans. Especially when it comes to celebrating our student-athletes!

So, let’s give these girls the welcome home they deserve!

I’ll share updates here as we learn more about their return to Bath, including when and where to gather. There are already some wonderful people communicating behind the scenes to help make this happen, and I appreciate every one of them!

A couple of things:

⛳️ If someone else is already coordinating a welcome home, PLEASE let me know! I’ll happily take this post down and direct everyone to the right place. The goal is to bring our community together, not duplicate efforts.

💙 If you’d rather receive a text when we have details, send me a DM with your phone number, and I’ll keep you updated.

💙 And if you’re able to help spread the word or join us when the girls get back, even better! Please share.

🤩 Where? At Bath High School When? Not sure. The got a late start with the frost. Check back!

📣 Meeting at the school upon their return! Signs, cowbells, however you celebrate - yet recall, we'll be on school property 😆😘💙

For now, let’s send some BIG Bath love to Allendale!

Let’s go, Bees! We’re proud of you and cannot wait to welcome you home! 🐝💙
