I hate to make this post BUT I need to make a very clear announcement regarding session cancellations and no-shows.
Photography is not a hobby for me or something I do “for fun.” This is my full time job and how I provide for my family. When you book a session, I block that time out specifically for you. I turn away other clients for that spot, plan my schedule around it, and show up prepared for your session.
Moving forward, after today, deposits will no longer be transferable to future sessions if you cancel last minute or do not show up.
I understand some people forget but I send out reminders and every session receives an email reminder 14 days before, 7 days before, and/or 1 day before. So set a reminder, alarm, tell your best friend to remind you.. I don’t know but please don’t no call no show or cancel 10 minutes before your session.
If you need to reschedule, you MUST give at least a 24 hour notice in order for your deposit to be applied to another date and MUST pay your remaining balance or I will not apply your deposit as a credit.
No-shows and last minute cancellations do not “give me extra free time.” They directly affect my income, my schedule, and my business. Please be respectful of the time and work that goes into every session booked.
