I usually ask my clients before a shoot if they have a specific vision, poses they like or dislike and locations they prefer. Sometimes I get feedback, which is perfect because I can help bring their ideas to life, if that’s what they want.

….but most of the time, I get something like this “you’re the pro just tell us what to do!”

Wanna know why I LOVE this? It’s because my clients trust me to take “what do I do with my hands?” + “we are awkward and not photogenic” and turn it into magic like this!✨

Just wanted to shout out to my husband….

aka- coworker, second shooter, holder of equipment, timeline keeper, driver, financial advisor, candid king, detail professional, stress manager, BTS photo taker, and my biggest cheerleader. I could expound on the amount of hats he wears to keep my business afloat. When I tell people “I couldn’t do this job without him,” I TRULY mean it.

He has been there supporting me since the beginning of this business, almost 6 years ago now. Not only does he support me, (especially on wedding days) he is so talented with the camera. He’s learned quickly how to adapt to tough lighting scenarios, taken over important parts of wedding days by himself, and is truly the gears that keep “EmmaG Photography” moving.
