It's that time of year. I'm mamking this for a cookie making party. I followed my recipe from last year and this is hitting the spot on an icy December day.
• 1 bottle Pinot Noir
• 100ml Grand Marnier (2 small bottles) Or orange juice
• 3-4 cinnamon sticks
• 8-10 whole cloves
• 3 whole star anise
• 4-6 tablespoons sugar or honey (to taste)
• Additional star anise, cinnamon sticks, fresh crushed cranberries and dried orange slices for garnish
Add all ingredients to pot except for Grand Marnier. Gently warm without boiling for 20 minutes. Taste wine and add more sugar or spices to taste. Right before serving ad Grand Marnier. Mulled Wine can be saved and reheated.
Serve in garnished glasses
