It’s been a while, so let me reintroduce myself.
Hi. I’m Karissa & I’m a photographer near Cincinnati, Ohio 👋
I’m 29 & a mom to two girls who are genuinely the coolest humans I know, Layla & Kam. I’m married to my absolute best friend, Rob, who supports every idea, dream, & chaotic plan I come up with. We also have four fur babies who keep life loud, busy, & full of love.
Before photography became my full time focus, I was a project manager until February of 2023, which I truly loved. I initially stepped away to be a stay at home mom & soak up extra time with our youngest before kindergarten. Somewhere in that season, with a lot of encouragement from my husband, I decided to turn a hobby I’d had for years into an LLC. Looking back, every single thing I learned as a project manager, marketing, IT, web development, budgets, systems, all of it, has played a role in building this business. I’m forever grateful for the people who took the time to teach me along the way.
Over time, I’ve really found my lane & have niched down to focus exclusively on engagements, weddings, & elopements. Rob is a huge part of this business & tags along to every wedding & elopement with me, capturing all of my videography footage. Being able to offer photo & video together, as a team, has become one of my favorite parts of this journey. I also offer bo***ir as an add on for couples looking to tell their story in a more personal way.
A few fun facts about me:
• I’m a huge advocate for autism inclusion & awareness. It’s something very near & dear to my heart.
• I absolutely hate jump scare horror movies.
• I love plants but cannot keep a fern alive to save my life.
