Yesterday I had the honor of photographing something very near & dear to my heart: the 3rd Annual We Walk The Spectrum Autism Awareness Walk 🌈
Truly such a beautiful event, every detail so thoughtfully done & an incredible turnout.
It means so much to be in a community that gets it, both as a mom & a photographer. Spaces where our babies are understood, supported, & celebrated exactly as they are aren’t always easy to find, but this was one of them. You could feel it in every smile, every interaction, every moment.
This is what it’s really about. Not just awareness, but acceptance. Creating a world where autistic kids are embraced, included, & free to be themselves without hesitation.
