Some sessions are less about perfect poses and more about capturing a season of life exactly as it is.

Three little girls. Tiny cowboy boots. Golden sunshine dancing through the trees. A whole lot of love.

The River Refuge gave us the perfect backdrop, but this family brought the magic. Between the giggles, wandering toddlers, and sweet smiles, we froze a few moments in time that they’ll be able to look back on for years to come.

These are the days they’ll miss someday—the little hands, the silly faces, and the beautiful chaos that comes with raising a family.

And honestly? That’s my favorite thing to photograph.

48 trips around the sun ☀️🫖🦌

What better way to celebrate my birthday than a little tea party with my deer?

Now, convincing wild deer to casually gather around a tea table like they’d received formal invitations was no small feat… especially with 22 of them roaming around and the sun slipping lower by the minute. There may have been a lot of running, a lot of waiting, and at least a hundred takes involved 😅

But somehow, in the middle of the chaos, it all came together—and it felt every bit as sweet and whimsical as I imagined.

A little magic, a setting sun, curious deer, and another beautiful trip around the sun. Here’s to 48… and to celebrating life in ways that feel a little wild and wonderfully magical 🩷✨🦌

A very exciting announcement from the family: my brother’s dog, Beastie Furface, is officially Mr. December 🐾✨ And I’m extra honored that the portrait in the calendar is one I captured for him while visiting a few years back.

Tiny hands in mama’s wedding dress, twirling around like they already know it holds a little magic 🤍✨

Today it’s dress-up, giggles, and veils that are far too big. One day, it’ll be their turn—standing in front of a mirror, slipping into a dress of their own, getting ready to begin a new chapter.

And somehow, for every mom, that day will feel like it arrived in the blink of an eye.

So for now… hold onto the little moments, the curls, the tiny toes, and the sweet innocence of pretending. Because these are the days we’ll wish we could relive just once more. 🤍

Last night, my son — alongside so many incredible students — graduated from Bastrop High School. 🎓

While I was there as a proud parent cheering on my son, I’m rarely ever without my camera. In the middle of all the excitement, I captured this moment, and it instantly felt bigger than just one graduate. It was a celebration of an entire class stepping into their future together.
