Meraki Photo by Jaime jaime photography is something that has always come very organically for me. no one person is exactly like another, so why should your photos be?

after running my own dance studio for eight years, i developed an eye for capturing the best possible movements and artistically interpreting life through my lens. i feel most at home behind the lens, currently based in the dallas/fort worth metroplex, but love to travel and work across the country. photography should happen naturally and not on the big wicker chairs with awkard uncomfortable pose

s. finding an ideal location and lighting are key to capturing YOUR UNIQUE personality and an original feel. to better understand the feel and look you are wanting to convey through your photos, i encourage your suggestions and will often have many questions for you. i am on a continual quest for originality, new locations and props that showcase who you are. my goal is to see your friends and family's hearts smile when they see you in your element. i want you to feel comfortable to help capture the best possible images and provide five-star treatment during your session. i can't wait to meet you and share with you the photographs that you've always wanted of you and your loved ones.

The summer heat will hit different this summer in Charleston thanks to this little slice of vintage heaven.
Pool passes, coffee shop, cocktail lounge, live performances✨ all with the most feel good vintage atmosphere. Built in 1961, the original Starlight Motor Inn was a North Charleston landmark. Created by used car salesman Woody Rogers, it was celebrated as the first modular-built motel in the South. Prefabricated, fully furnished rooms were built on a Georgia assembly line, transported by train, and lifted into a steel.
1989 suffered damage from Hugo
2023 The mid-century motel was fully restored and reopened as The Starlight Motor Inn, retaining its historic modular architecture while offering modern amenities and a vibrant on-site cocktail space, The Burgundy Lounge.
