I'm so excited that my copy of I Learned it Through The Grapevine, written by my good friend Lauren Andersen-Brynjelsen, came in today! I cannot wait until Friday night when I will open up a bottle of Pinot Noir and relish the beautiful words that Lauren put to paper.

We were honored to capture this surprise proposal on Friday afternoon! They live in LA, but the bride's family is from Barrington Hills. The groom found me online, and we planned everything out together over the phone, text and email. I scouted the first location he suggested, and I sent him video and photos of the different paths. He could see it was very muddy and overgrown so he changed it to her father's property close by, which is beautiful and was perfect! My assistant and I were parked on a separate private road, and photographed them like paparazzi from across the yard. It was so sweet, they walked and held hands, and then he turned to her and dropped to one knee, her hands went to her face, he pulled out a ring, there were tears and hugging and all the good things. We did a fun photo shoot after the proposal, and I can't wait to share! Congratulations to Madison and Frances!❤️

There was a lot of laughter as we photographed this beautiful 2026 graduate! Isna is stylish, and full of smiles and s***k, and we were honored to create these portraits for her family. She is also one of my son's good friends, so it was especially sweet to work with her..

It's not too late to capture senior portraits for your graduate before they head off to college!
