Hello, my name is Stephanie and I have been taking photographs since I was able to hold a camera, but have focused on taking portraits for the last 10+ years. When I was 6 years old, my mom gave me my first camera, a beautiful pink Barbie 110 film camera. I would spend hours posing my Barbies, snow globes, and ponies until I thought they were just perfect. My love for taking pictures didn’t stop t

here. I then went to college where I spent hours developing film in the dark room. My family knew that if I were missing, they would find me there, in the middle of the night, getting my images just perfect. Fast-forward a few years and not much has changed; only now you will find me in front of my computer and not in the dark room. I do still shoot film from time to time, but I prefer the digital way these days. I am a mom of three and I typically have a camera of some sort in my hands at all times! Like most parents out there, I fully experience the struggle of there not being enough time in the day, and I think that is why I do what I do. I love to freeze time; my family calls it my super power! I love to capture the beautiful pouty lips that every new baby has, those rosy cheeks that we all want to squeeze, the three month old thighs that we just want to tickle, and those tiny toddler hands we so desperately want to hold onto, but can’t… because they keep growing. I take those beautiful noses and long eyelashes you never want to stop looking at and I freeze them. A moment trapped in time forever. I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area; Crystal Lake to be exact. I have a home studio, but I also love to travel to my clients as well. I want to end this by thanking all of my family and friends that have supported me from the very beginning.
