What an incredibly beautiful wedding day for Haley and Jack! Their venue was quite possibly our new favorite (ahhh, the light!) and every detail of their wedding was gorgeous. This couple radiated joy, and their love was obvious to everyone present. Thank you Haley and Jack for giving us a great reason to visit Iowa City for the first time! We adored your wedding day!

Some day I WILL eventually post some pics of all of the beautiful families, newborns and high school seniors I've worked with lately. Promise. But until then, here is another gorgeous wedding Ryan and I photographed. 🥰
A few things to note...
1) I'm in charge of choosing the "sneak peek" images and I always choose way too many. Sorry, not sorry.
2) This wedding was an absolute blast and one for the books. Beautiful downtown Chicago venue, amazing couple, a dance floor that we ourselves wanted to dance on... yes, yes, and yes please.
3) It would be hard to find better grooms than Jonathan and Will. They were the coolest, kindest, and funniest men ever and they don't know this yet but on our way home we decided they are going to be our new best friends.
4) They told us they were going to do a last minute surprise choreographed dance. I'm going to be real honest here... when a couple says that it doesn't always mean they will pull it off well. But my god. Absolutely not, this dance should have been on the finale of Dancing With the Stars, and won. Seriously. Incredible.
5) I just want to say, my very favorite person to work with is my husband. He makes the day feel like anything but work and we work together like a well oiled machine. Know anyone that has a wedding coming up? Holla this way! Although we have a pretty full 2026 we are booking 2027 now!
