A few weeks ago, I drove to Assateague Island to capture the night skies. Paige and I went to capture tracked panoramas of the Milky Way. Here is my only tracked pano, as the clouds didn't care about my feelings. 😉
Framed in this shot is the Naturalist Shack on the right side, facing the East Coast, with leading lines of the wooden railings inviting your eye into the shot. The sky was captured this morning, and the foreground was captured at Blue hour the following night. But I framed according to how the sky images aligned with the foreground.

I took a trip down the coast to Assateague Island in Maryland to capture some night sky action. and I wanted to get some tracked panoramas with some darker skies and get away from the light polluted New Jersey. However, nature doesn’t really care what we want. It reminds me of the Honey Badger cuz the Honey Badger don’t care! 🐍 We did get some open skies and grabbed and few good Milky Way shots. This was captured in between cloud coverage and was still very beautiful to see.
Night sky photography really blows my mind every time I get to see what is possible to capture on a camera.
I hope everyone is having a great 2026! Besides the never ending wars that support the elite class that don’t give a f about humanity. 🌎
