It’s been a whirlwind of a couple of weeks but that means I’ve been able to witness some really beautiful wedding days. Last weekend I got the opportunity to work with an all-start vendor team at to serve Taylor and Jackson for their big day. Y’all….it was special! What a power couple filled with so much genuine kindness for others.

A little over a week ago I had the incredible honor of being a part of MaryElliott and Austin’s wedding. Y’all, these two are genuinely two of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Hi! It’s been a minute since I said hey. I’m JP!

I’m a husband to an incredible wife, a dad to three life giving kids, and a man of who loves Jesus just trying to live and work with purpose. Life at home is full and meaningful—and honestly, that’s shaped the way I see everything through a lens. 12 years behind the camera… and still just getting started.

When I’m not photographing weddings, families or corporate clients, you’ll probably find me spending time with my family or friends, sitting behind a drum kit, enjoying great coffee, messing with houseplants or working in the yard.

Photography for me has never just been about “taking pictures.” It’s about serving people well. It’s about slowing down time for a moment and preserving what actually matters—the relationships, the in-between moments, the real stuff.

My goal is simple: create images that feel like you, while caring for you like more than just a client.

Would you believe be if I told you this was taken inside? Well, it was! It was hot outside, and we were doing family photos at the time but I looked over and saw the light coming into a window perfectly. Sometimes the prettiest shots don’t take a lot of set up or time. It just takes a good eye and the ability to see beyond a timeline.

Today marks 15 years of marriage to this incredible woman. Proverbs 18:22 says that “He who finds a wife finds a good thing” and I can say without a doubt that God has blessed me beyond words. There is not one person in this world that I would ever want to do this life with other than her. She makes those around her better, she lives out her faith, she is sacrificial, she is thoughtful, she is honorable. She is the love of my life.
