Staying warm? Remember the 3-foot rule! Keep all space heaters at least three feet away from anything that can burn like curtains, bedding, clothing, etc. Plug heaters directly into wall outlets, not extension cords and be careful not to overload outlets and extension cords.

Portable generators are lifesavers during outages, but they can be deadly if used incorrectly.

⚠️ Keep generators outside only. Never run them in a garage, basement, crawlspace, or shed, even with doors open.

➡️ Place the generator at least 20 feet away from windows, doors, and vents to keep exhaust from drifting inside.

🙅 Never add fuel while the generator is running or hot. Let it cool down for at least 2-5 minutes to prevent a fire.
