Miss Leah. I can understand why it was difficult for you to choose just three words that sum up your incredible heart, kind spirit, and ridiculously awesome work ethic. The three that you settled on are three of the strongest for a female ready to fly beyond the hallways of the high school. You've always been a stellar human being, but watching your evolution over the course of the past few years has been an honor.

Always stay independent... it will serve you well as you fiercely navigate the unknown.

Always stay caring... you've always shown up in ways others don't, the world will always need more of this.

Always stay determined... there's no doubt in my mind that you'll be able to tackle anything that life has to throw at you... head on!

With the deadline for senior sessions quickly approaching, there's still a little time for me to hang out with a few wonderful humans.

AJ's session had me flashing back to his 8th grade year. He's part of my OG, middle school crew (and there's not many of them!). His growth as a human is admirable, and in his senior year, it's no surprise to me that he's tackled a new sport head on!

Spent the evening running around the Riverwalk and beyond with Jacob and his mom. We ended up with the most perfect weather after a long day of rain. I could have spent all evening down on the river!

Happy senior year, Jacob! I'm so glad to hear that your favorite class of the semester is one in the science department! 😉

Cheated a bit on the words for Izzy (she chose bubbly, smiley, and clumsy)... but, honestly... there are so many words that describe Izzy that it's impossible to come up with just three. 🐮🌻🥒

Humans like Izzy are the reasons why I teach.

I am forever grateful that she was placed in my 9th grade biology class, and even more grateful that she currently chooses to spend her off campus hours helping me organize, clean, and prep my space.

Life at the high school will not be the same when her bubbly personality graces the presence of new school hallways... but the nursing field (or any field, for that matter) needs humans like Izzy, too.

Only a few seniors left for this season and I couldn't be more grateful that Addison chose me to take her senior photos. I couldn't put my camera down... can you blame me? 🤩

The world will be grateful that she's choosing gift her kindness and patience to the next generations of little learners. 👩‍🏫
