I get so many questions like “what kind of activities can we do on our day?” and “Why do people add activities to their elopement or adventure session?”

Honestly?? they add SO much to your day and are one of the best ways to make your photos actually feel like you. When you add in things you love doing together (or have always wanted to do), it turns your day into more of an experience instead of feeling like one long photoshoot

G&A wanted their session to feel natural and true to them, and before we met they both said they had no idea what to do in photos (my favorite thing ever honestly lol). So instead of putting pressure on “performing” in front of the camera, we turned it into an adventure! We started at for some glam and then explored Acadia National Park, grabbed lobster rolls from Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound, and ended the night with a scenic flight through .

The activities brought out so much genuine emotion, movement, laughter, and connection naturally, while I still guided them when needed during the more posed moments too. Their love really got to shine through because they were focused on each other instead of the camera the whole time.

If you’re looking for an Acadia photographer or planning an adventure session in Maine, this is your reminder that your day can look however you want it to and your photos should reflect YOU as a couple❤️

Surprise!!!! Sweet-Serenity Photography is now shifting to Christina Albright Photography and I am SO excited!!!!

This rebrand is not because my passion or vision has changed, but actually because I want my business to feel even more personal and connected to the experience I create for all of you. Over the years, Sweet-Serenity Photography grew into something so much bigger than I ever imagined, but I started to realize the name no longer felt fully like me!! It sounded more like a larger photography team or company, when in reality, every email, timeline, location recommendation, adventure, edit, and moment behind the camera has always just been me!

I wanted a brand that feels human, personal, intentional, and reflective of the connection I build with my couples!! So this new chapter is all about showing up more authentically as myself and creating a brand that feels even more aligned with the heart behind what I do.

While the name is changing, the things that matter most are staying the same! The adventurous experiences, the emotional storytelling, the intentional moments, and the relationships I get to build with all of you. If anything, this shift allows me to lean into that even more!
I also just wanted to say thank you to every single person who has supported this tiny business and helped it grow into something so incredibly special over the years. I never could have imagined all of the places this business would take me, the stories I would get to document, or the amazing people I would meet along the way! We have truly turned my tiny biz into something so special!!

I am endlessly thankful for this community of couples, clients, and friends who continue to support me and trust me with such meaningful moments. Truly, you all are the coolest humans ever, and I am so grateful you are here!!

A special shoutout to Maddie from The Kindling Studio for creating my new branding and really taking my vision and running with it. You nailed this and I am so excited to share my new website coming very soon!!

Everyone talks about sunrise in Acadia National Park (and don’t get me wrong… it is unreal), but the quiet moments right before? That’s where the magic actually lives.

S&J came here dreaming of that iconic Acadia sunrise, and it absolutely showed up for them. But right before it did, we were all just standing there in awe of the moon. It was still hanging over the water, lighting everything up in the softest way, and it made the whole morning feel even more surreal.

The birds starting up, the waves hitting the rocks, that calm before the sun takes over. It’s intimate in a way that makes the entire experience feel slower and more intentional.

If you’re planning an Acadia elopement, I always tell my couples: don’t just show up for the sunrise. Get there early. Slow down, take it in, and let the day start naturally instead of rushing into it.

As an Acadia elopement photographer, these are the moments I’m obsessed with capturing. The in-between, real, unposed stuff that you’ll actually feel when you look back on it

Elopement but make it fully you… running around, wind in your hair, doing whatever actually feels right instead of what you’re “supposed” to do!

I’m an Acadia elopement photographer but I will always show up for a good destination moment, especially Alaska in the summer. The light, the mountains, the slower pace… it just hits different.

If you want an Alaska elopement that feels intentional, easy, and like everything will just fall into place, reach out!

Okay let’s chat about LANDSCAPES

There is a reason Maine feels so different.
It is not just what you see, it is what you feel while you are in it.

The landscapes hold your moments in a way that is quiet, powerful, and completely unforgettable and this is why I guide every single one of my couples to find a location that truly reflects who they are, because that is where you will feel the most like yourselves, and where you shine the most.

From an Acadia National Park elopement along the rugged coastline, to quiet mountain views and forest trails across coastal Maine, your location becomes part of your story in a way that is deeply personal and intentional.

Stuck figuring out where you will feel the most like you on your day? Let’s chat and figure it out t

We will get the epic shots, of course. That’s important. But the ones that end up meaning the most are always the ones that were never planned.

They’re the moments where the wind picks up your dress in the most perfect way, when you share a small, quiet, intimate moment, and honestly the ones you forget even happened until you’re looking back at your photos like “oh my goodness, remember this?”

And if you’re sitting there thinking… “okay but I’m awkward in front of the camera, Christina” — perfect.

I guide all of my couples in a way that feels natural to you. Nothing stiff, nothing forced. Just simple prompts and guidance so you can actually feel comfortable and like yourselves.

Because at the end of the day, your photos shouldn’t just look beautiful… they should feel like you were actually there!

Coffee, cinnamon rolls, and the quietest morning overlooking Jordan Pond at Acadia?

This is what a fall elopement in Acadia National Park can look like. No rush, no pressure, just the two of you starting your wedding day slow with a cozy picnic, warm drinks, and views that don’t feel real.

One of my favorite ways to begin an Acadia elopement is right here on the mountain top. Especially in the fall, when the leaves are changing, the air is crisp, and the park feels a little more peaceful. It gives you space to actually be present before the adventure begins.

Your elopement doesn’t have to be just a ceremony. It can be an experience. Think sunrise coffee, a lakeside picnic, hiking along the coast, reading private vows, and ending the night in Bar Harbor with dinner or a campfire.

If you’re dreaming about a fall elopement in Acadia National Park, this is your reminder that it can feel simple, intentional, and completely you.
