Two friends and their families visiting from Texas 🤍

On the way to the beach, the radar showed a quick shower coming through right around their session time. We got a few photos in before the rain started, took a quick 10-minute break while it passed, and then headed back out to the most gorgeous post-rain sky.

Sometimes I think being a photographer also requires being a meteorologist 😂

The stormy clouds + that sky afterward made for such a pretty night at the beach!

One of the things I love most about my day job as a school counselor is the people I get to work with.

My boss has a family home in Bar Harbor, and by pure coincidence, we were both vacationing there the same week her whole family was together. The timing couldn’t have worked out better, so I was able to photograph their extended family.

It’s always special when life and photography overlap like this. A beautiful location, a family making memories together, and getting to preserve a small piece of it…it doesn’t get much better than that 💕
