Not sure what to do with your hands? I’ve got you!

Here are some of my favorite poses for graduation photos.

One of the biggest things I hear before sessions is: “I’m awkward in photos,” and I promise, you’re not. You just haven’t been guided in a way that feels natural yet.

The best posing doesn’t feel stiff or overly “posed.” It’s movement-based, relaxed, and tailored to you. Think walking, adjusting your outfit, playing with your hair, laughing mid-sentence, or just shifting your weight and breathing into the moment.

My approach is a mix of gentle direction and candid moments. I’ll guide you the whole time so you’re never left wondering what to do, but I also leave space for real expressions and personality to come through.

You don’t need to know how to pose. That’s my job. Your job is just to show up as you 🤍

Graduation photos capture a moment that goes by so quickly, but represents so much.

These photos become more than just something to post. They’re the images your family keeps, the ones you’ll look back on years from now, remembering exactly how this moment felt.

Because this version of you only exists right now. Let’s capture it.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, I’m continuing to share a few weddings and love stories from the archives: Next up: Kelsea and Robbie. They were married at Boothby’s Farm Market and Orchard in Maine, a place that feels warm, authentic, and deeply rooted in history. Their celebration unfolded inside a 19th century barn set among working orchards and vineyards, a space that has held generations of stories and family memories and is now ready to welcome new beginnings.

What made their day so special was how naturally it fit them. Genuine, joyful, and full of heart, every moment felt grounded in the beauty of Maine and the simple sweetness of gathering together. It was the kind of wedding where time slows just enough to notice the endless laughter, the soft light through the orchard, and the feeling of something meaningful beginning.

Photographing days like this is a reminder that the most beautiful celebrations are the ones that feel truly yours.

More love stories coming all month long. 💛

In honor of Valentine’s Day, I’m continuing to share a few weddings and love stories from the archives. Next up: Sami and Kaz. Their backyard Maine wedding was as effortlessly cool, creative, and heartfelt as they are. Both musicians, their story began years earlier at the New England Conservatory, where late-night rehearsals, house shows, and a first date at a dive bar in Davis Square slowly grew into a deep partnership: one filled with collaboration, honesty, and a shared love of music.

After a Christmas Eve proposal in Maine and a postponed celebration, they were finally married beside Cobbosseecontee Lake, surrounded by family, friends, lake swims, a lobster clambake, and the sound of live music woven throughout the day.

Their story was even featured in The New York Times, and photographing this wedding felt like witnessing something truly personal and timeless.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, this month I’ll be sharing a few weddings and love sessions from the archives: moments that still feel just as joyful and meaningful as the day they happened.

Starting with Ben and Madison! Their wedding at Brick South in Portland, Maine was an absolute dream from beginning to end. Set against the warm brick, soft coastal light, and the unmistakable charm of Portland, their day felt equal parts elegant, relaxed, and deeply personal. Every detail reflected who they are together, thoughtful, joyful, and completely present with the people they love most.

More love stories coming all month long. 💛

Along with sharing more of my portrait photography, one of my goals for 2026 is to share more of the other images I create as well. Here’s to not letting them sit on hard drives!

Starting out by sharing a few pink floral photos, dreaming of spring weather.
