Here’s a few rainy day wedding tips for brides! Especially anyone getting married this weekend!
- Make that rain plan! If you were hoping for good weather, don’t chance it. This is MD our weather is nuts. You don’t need that added stress! Plan it out, know ahead of time.
- Adjust your timeline to allow for extra time between locations. Expect people to be delayed because of the weather, especially for Friday weddings where people get stuck in rush hour traffic.
- Brides, get you and your bridesmaids some super cool rain boots. There is still time to order what ever crazy ones you want on amazon! If your bridesmaids are wearing long dresses they won’t even be visible and everyone will be more comfortable.
- Get lots of umbrellas! For your wedding party, guests, order a bulk pack on amazon. You can always sell them after to another bride. Clear umbrellas are great for photos too!
- If you don’t have a tent, get one! There are even clear tents to let in natural light. Even with a tent, if it rains enough the grass underneath with get soggy so have spare towels for you guests.
- Embrace the rain! If you planned and are prepared then there is nothing more you can do but have fun and enjoy your day! Take some photos out in the rain, don’t worry about your dress. I had a bride get in a muddy river with her dress once and it came back from the dry cleaners like new! It’s worth it!
