The search for a photographer can seem to be an easy task, but as you may have found out choosing a photographer that is a good fit for you with style, creativity and cost can be tricky. Well I do hope that search stops here and we connect very soon. Over 6 years ago when I finally decided that I wanted to further pursue my love for photography I never imagined that I would become a full time prof

essional photographer. A photographer who has traveled for work, won awards, featured in magazines, mentored others and given the opportunity to meet some amazing people along the way. I often times pinch myself not realizing this is all so real. To sum up me, I'd like to be recognized as a woman who loves God, her husband, family and her doggies with an insatiable desire to spend endless summer days in Virginia Beach with my camera of course (smile)!!

Over the course of this year I've started tapping into my creative side. Yes, I know as a photographer I am already a creative. But this was really whatever I wanted to do, my vision. I grabbed a few inexpensive canvas wraps from Walmart, dollar store paint and brushes and went to town.

The background of this image is my artwork and the products in focus are the paints and brushes that I used. Image is unedited.

We ended her shoot with a play date with her best friends. We just all happened to be at the park at the same time. They haven't been together as a trio since March. So excited to see each other.

It felt good to see their moms as well. I've gained 2 new amazing mom friends. Daily communication with them has helped me get through this pandemic.

It's been a long while since I've posted here and a long while since shooting. These last 8 months have been a rollercoaster ride for us all.

For my family, we have taken this time to heal together, grow together and even after 20 yrs of being together getting to know each other better. Especially now that we have this beautiful girl here.

This pandemic has taken a lot from so many across this globe. It has shown how connected and disconnected we are as people.

So many senseless murders across this country and so much hate plaguing the hearts of so many.

This past Sunday many of us were given a glimmer of hope, of moving forward to a new day, a change that has been long due.

I am hopeful for the future and hopeful for change. And excited about all of the new possibilities.
