For the last couple of months, I have been working with the Maryland Film Festival to bring something new to attendees. We call it CineTech and it encompasses immersive projection mapping, AR , VR and gaming. The festival starts this Thursday and we have a CineTech feature Saturday morning at 9:30. There will be a presentation of all the experiences we have built as well as a panel that talks about the tech involved and why we are going this direction.

Happy 4th of July! Oh Say Can You See, the Star Spangled Banner House in 3D!!!

This model was created by using both terrestrial lidar and aerial photogrammetry. Both datasets are merged into one model.

It’s always nice when you get to photograph a piece of history. This church in Cambridge, MD dates back to the 1800s. It was part of the Underground Railroad and both Harriet Tubman and Fredric Douglass worshiped here. Our good friends at Encore Sustainable Architects are doing a wonderful job getting it ready for restoration. We were able to 3D scan the entire exterior of the build and captured the inside with 360 super high res panoramas.

We recently 3D scanned the historic B&O Train Station in Aberdeen, MD. The model made it into the SketchFab Top 10 of the week for Cultural Heritage.
