Start with the end in mind.
You’ve probably heard that on more than one occasion when you’re building and planning for almost anything in life.
For me, this morning in particular, there’s a twist on those words.
It’s making me think of my own end.
I know I know…how morbid.
But the fact remains, there’s a shelf life to all of this — to all of us.
And in the quiet moments (and sometimes not so quiet ones) I think about death.
One day, you’ll no longer hear from me.
And it’s made me think of what I’m leaving behind…both physical and felt.
I find myself really focused on that felt experience.
For me.
For you.
Now.
Later.
Right or wrong, I’m approaching everything and everyone with that as the undercurrent.
It’s slower.
More deliberate.
But damn it makes my heart beat with everything it’s got.
