Not everyone wants me to pick every outfit, and that’s more than okay. Some clients hand me the full reins — I send head-to-toe looks for everyone and all they have to do is show up. Others want a vision board so they can shop their own closets or grab a few pieces at their favorite stores if a whole new wardrobe isn’t in the budget this season. These sessions ran the gamut of fully styled by me all the way to “mom took my vision and absolutely slayed” 👏👏 and lots of in between. Either way, we build it together, starting with making mom feel confident and beautiful, then building everyone else around her. This is the part that elevates a “family photo” into a fine art portrait that still looks like you and your fam. 💛 Which style is calling to you??

Golden hour isn’t just a pretty IG term — it’s the actual reason your outdoor photos glow instead of squint. That low, warm light wraps around everyone instead of blasting straight down, so no harsh shadows, no sunglasses-required smiles, just the kind of soft light that makes an image feel like art instead of a snapshot. It’s also usually right around dinner time, so yes, we might be adjusting the evening routine this one time. But lucky for you I speak hangry toddler. And I promise it’s worth it every time. ☀️

Here’s what happens before I ever pick up my camera: you fill out a questionnaire about your family, your kids, your story. Then we hop on a video call so you can tell me about the quirks, the little details, the family dynamic — who needs a minute to warm up, who’s obsessed with dinosaurs, who will not wear anything with a tag in it. By the time we’re on location, I already know your kids. That’s not a nice extra, that’s the whole reason sessions with me feel fun and flowy instead of chaotic. 🤍
