Your wedding photos should feel like a memory, not a photoshoot.

I have documented love across the country for the last decade, and I’m opening a small number of additional 2026 + 2027 wedding dates before my pricing and offerings evolve significantly this summer. If you've been lurking and haven't booked yet, now is the time to do so with my current rates!!

My approach is documentary and story-first: quietly observing, gently guiding when needed, and capturing the kinds of moments you don’t realize matter until years later. There will always be space for beautiful, gently guided portraits — but the heartbeat of the day will never be interrupted for the sake of performative posing.

A little about me, since we could be spending one of the biggest days of your life together: I’m the calm, sentimental one quietly fixing your veil, cracking jokes to ease the stress, crying during speeches, and somehow becoming emotionally attached to your grandparents by the end of the night.

At home, I’m married to an IT nerd/history buff from New York, raising a beautiful baby boy in a tiny mountain town with two cats, and one chaotic mini poodle. I love jazz, metal, hip hop, and old movies. My personal style is somewhere between “mob wife” and former goth kid, and I am equal parts storyteller, nostalgic romantic, and best friend with a camera — here for the real stuff.

This was my first wedding back after maternity leave.

6 weeks postpartum, running on almost nothing, trying to navigate a heart that suddenly lived outside my body. I questioned whether I was ready to come back yet — to the long hours, the constant movement, the high emotions and high stakes… and then... there were these two.

A&B have the kind of love that feels immediate. Uncomplicated. Certain. The way they looked at each other told entire stories before they ever spoke a word.

I felt it at their engagement session months earlier while I was heavily pregnant and waddling around with my camera. It stayed with me the way a good story never leaves your memory, and I knew I couldn’t not be there to capture their day.

So I went.

It was one of those days that reminded me why I do this in the first place. Not for perfection. Not for performance.

For connection. For memory. For the light life lets in, even when things feel dark for a while.

I got to meet their families, who were warm and generous in the way people only are when love is deeply rooted. And this love story will always be one of my favorites of all time.

I will never forget it. 🤍✨

Some weddings stay with me because they were beautiful.

Some stay because of how they felt.

This one felt like being welcomed into the real, authentic, beautiful family we all dream of.

The kind of family that reaches for each other instinctively. The kind where the kids dance until they’re sweaty and sleepy, where everyone knows everyone’s stories, where laughter carries across the tables and nobody is trying to impress anyone. They were simply there — fully, genuinely, lovingly present with one another.

We all want this, deep down.

Not perfection. Not performance. Just to be deeply known and deeply loved by the people sitting beside us.

Watching these two move through their wedding day felt less like documenting an event and more like witnessing a home being built in real time. 🤍

These are the kinds of weddings that make me cry on the drive home.

I had the absolute pleasure of capturing this beautiful day in New Mexico this winter, and I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever fully be able to explain what this weekend felt like to me.

Some couples walk into your life and feel strangely familiar — like your hearts already know each other somehow, some way. That was M + C. The way they love, the way they move through the world, the way they care for the people around them… they are so genuine and kind and I felt them from the beginning, deeply.

There was this quiet magic to their wedding. Desert sunsets, tearful hugs, the soft wind in her veil, everyone gathered close, and the overwhelming feeling that this wasn’t just a wedding day — it was the joining of two families who love with their whole hearts.

And somewhere along the way, they made me feel like part of it too.. 🤍

The dim light, the old brick, the deep greens... has a way of making everything slow down for a a second.
