This is the last photo I took of you during our last week together with you upright walking and in some health. We had the best week ever, talking about a life shared as best friends all around the world. We talked about the infamous Budapest Fight, our bulleted faxes trading jibes, we talked about those freshwater pearls, you bought on demand for me while you watched the river dive in the Caspian. We listened to all day like we were at a live concert and Give You Blue was what I sang to you while you were waking from your coma. My angry spouse in another house. My daily partner while pregnant. My best friend for over 35 years. I’ll always love you and miss you when.
